DALTEX is the resin-bound aggregate brand from Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates (Derby Aggregates) — widely used for resin-bound driveways, paths and patios across the UK. DALTEX dried aggregates are cleaned, screened and dried for consistency when mixed with UV-stable resin and trowelled to a smooth, seamless finish.

Resin-bound (what we install) mixes dried aggregate with resin before laying, producing a flat, permeable surface. That differs from resin-bonded, where aggregate is scattered onto wet resin for a loose-gravel look that is typically non-porous. Correctly detailed resin-bound surfacing on a suitable porous base can be SUDS-compliant and help surface water drain through rather than pond.
