Ask us about DALTEX resin aggregates
For a decorative permeable finish, ask us about resin-bound surfaces using DALTEX dried aggregates. They are cleaned and graded for consistency, and there are around 48 Daltex Bespoke colour blends. Resin-bound (aggregate mixed with UV-stable resin before laying) is different from non-porous resin-bonded scatter systems. On a suitable porous base, it can support SUDS-style drainage. Worth knowing before a Sale driveway
- Dropped kerbs in Sale go through Trafford Council. Apply early.
- Front garden drainage: a new front hard surface over 5 m² needs to be permeable or drain within your property to avoid needing planning permission.
- Conservation areas: Ashton upon Mersey and some other parts of Trafford are conservation areas. Check before removing front walls or hedges.
- Levels: we keep the finished surface safely below your damp-proof course and plan falls away from the house and garage.

Are you really local to Sale?
Yes. MKB Surfacing is based at 45 Marsland Road, Sale M33 3HP. We can usually get out to Sale addresses quickly for a survey.
Do I need planning permission for a driveway in Sale?
Usually not, as long as the new surface is permeable or drains onto a lawn, border or soakaway on your own property. Ashton upon Mersey and some other parts of Trafford are conservation areas, where rules can be tighter. A dropped kerb always needs Trafford Council approval.
